The HMAS Hobart Image: David A Litman/stock.adobe.com Sustainment of the Royal Australian Navy’s fleet of Air Warfare Destroyers (DDGs) will today shift to an integrated model as BAE Systems Australia commences its role as the first Capability Life Cycle Manager (CLCM) for the Commonwealth Government. The six-year, $155 million CLCM contract establishes a new Destroyer Enterprise responsible for delivering a best practice approach for the sustainment of the three DDGs.
