Robotics investments top $3.7B in September

Fifty-four producers of robots and robotics enabling technologies raised funding in September 2024, pulling in a total of $3.7 billion. This is the highest monthly funding amount for 2024. September’s investment exceeded June 2024’s total – the previous monthly leader – by over $1 billion and was more than 2.5 times the 12-month trailing average of $1.4 billion.

The seasonally adjusted S&P Global Canada Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) signalled a second successive monthly improvement in operating conditions during the month.
