Edge Orchestration Leader ZEDEDA Secures $72M in Growth Capital

One of those specialty niche areas of modern compute architecture is technology to handle special needs of edge computing. ZEDEDA developed edge orchestration technology. I see that it is using some Gartner data to tie its fortunes to AI in the form of ML (machine learning). It is growing at enough pace to require additional capital funding. Emerson and Rockwell Automation are two companies in my market space that are invested in this area.

Scythe robot lawnmowers adopting ‘Tesla charging standard’

Colo.-based Scythe Robotics is adopting the North American Charging Standard (NACS) charge port for its M.52 robot lawnmower. The company said this move will integrate NACS capabilities into their all-electric, fully autonomous commercial mower as early as Q4 2024. NACS , also known as the “Tesla Charger” or SAE J3400, is becoming the standard in electric vehicle (EV) charging, according to Scythe.

Medical Microinstruments announced today that it raised $110 million in a Series C financing round to help commercialize its surgical robot. Fidelity Management & Research Company led the round.
