Carbon County, Utah – May 22, 2023 – Merit3D was one of many recipients of the Utah Manufacturing Modernization Grant which aimed to bring manufacturing back home to the US, and more specifically, to Utah. This grant enabled what could be the largest order of 3Dprinted parts.
This also included the design and production of coupons and critical parts, validation and qualification, and the final delivery of the full-sized metal 3D-printed casing. The additively manufactured TCF casing is designed for narrow-body engines in which the part is approximately one meter or more in diameter.
