New can counting machine installed to boost recycling productivity in WA

A new can counting machine has been installed in Carnarvon, Western Australia, to boost recycling production as well as economic growth and employment generation in the area. Funded with a $16,686 Regional Economic Development (RED) Grant, the new can-counting machine will help increase the efficiency of the Containers for Change scheme in Carnarvon, the government said in a media statement.
